The Role Responsibilities
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head, CFCC Advisory, Treasury Markets (TM) & FM ASEAN & South Asia (ASA) in delivering on the FM Compliance requirements as part of the overall IBOR transition agenda. This role will provide exposure to a highly dynamic area of Standard Chartered Bank and can directly contribute to the delivery of the IBOR Transition Programme.
Support the delivery of the IBOR transition agenda with senior stakeholders within Conduct, Financial Crime and Compliance (CFCC).
Highlight CFCC-related risks pertaining to the transition and support stakeholders to identify the impacted products, systems and processes.
Support the development of plans to address Compliance responsibilities with respect to IBOR transition.
Coordinate responses to internal requests, including data and business plans.
Draft policies and prepare various guidance notes/ FAQs/ scripts in consultation with the businesses.
Facilitate workshops with relevant stakeholders to assist the businesses where required, eg. Conduct risk management and Conflicts of Interest.
Benchmark SCB processes with the industry practices and identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate CFCC training sessions and provide support to the IBOR Programme Office on its training initiatives.
Manage internal communications to different stakeholder groups to ensure they are kept up to date with relevant industry developments and project milestones.
Work with the FM CFCC team to brief them and obtain feedback on key matters relating to the transition.
Work with Country CFCC staff to assist with embedding LIBOR transition in these countries.
Work with the IBOR Programme team to ensure proactive communication on status and issues throughout the programme.
Work with the FM Surveillance team to plan for the transition.
Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Head, CFCC Advisory, TM & FM ASA.

Our Ideal Candidate
Good Financial Markets products and operational knowledge especially of derivatives and bonds.
Prior experience in FM or Treasury compliance, product valuation, market / credit risk or operations would be preferred.
Previous exposure to LIBOR Transition or involvement in regulatory change projects would be advantageous.
Ability to perform project management activities such as scoping, planning, financial analysis and risk and issues management. Experience with a Big 4 consultancy firm would be preferred.
Ability to articulate complex issues concisely, communicate effectively and comfortably and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team spread across multiple geographies.
