Role You will be responsible for the design, development and testing of real-time signal generation and trade execution applications. This will see you work closely with other teammate developers and the wider business to collaborate on designing high quality, reliable / best in class solutions. The company offers a real team-centric approach to its development, so you will be able to contribute quickly to both coding and design ideas for a cutting-edge system working in the global derivatives marketplace. Previous finance experience is not a prerequisite but strong Python development skills are mandatory.
A deep knowledge of Python & experience building complex, high performance systems.
Ability to design /develop relational databases, make schema changes stored procedures (SQL/PostgreSQL).
Experience delivering real-time, trading / market data, risk related systems.
Hadoop, AWS/S3, scale out frameworks (Dask, Spark).
Comfortable with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile Methodology.
Unix / Linux Scripting Skills.
A technology and/or finance focused degree / diploma.
DevOps, CI/CD tools (Kubernetes)
Hardware Tuning Experience (Desirable).
C++ Development Experience (Desirable).
Derivatives market knowledge (Desirable)
This role would be suited for people coming from a Web Development, Quant-Developer, Algo-Trading, Analyst Programmer, Software Engineer or Coder background from a complex environment. Salary available is based on experience and bonuses received by this team are well above market averages.
