My client is a leading quantitative hedge fund that specializes across electronic trading, fixed income, and portfolio management. After years of working within a Windows infrastructure, senior leadership has made the determination to pivot towards a large-scale Linux compute environment. They are aggressively building their core infrastructure team and are looking for Linux Engineers to join their growing team. With the greenfield nature of this team, you will play a vital role in the roadmap and architecture of the environment.

Desired Skills and Experience:
You will have a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience and a Masters' from a top 50 Computer Science or Information Sciences Technology program
Expertise with Linux compute systems experience including architecture, implementation, troubleshooting and operation
Ideally, you will expertise working in a RedHat environment but will consider candidates with other versions
Previous experience working in financial services or low latency environments in addition to experience from FAANG or similar Silicon Valley firms
Knowledge with scripting with either Python (preferred) or Bash. They will also consider candidates with experience in Rust or Golang
Develop tooling and scripts to automate current procedures and for implement/scale/test infrastructure services
