The client member is looking to hire an associate level executive to join their team, with a particular focus on sales, distribution and client coverage for Greater China and South East Asia.
The successful candidate will initially be responsible for assisting the Managing Partners and Managing Directors with business development, sales and client coverage in Greater China including Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China, and South East Asian markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. The successful candidate will assist with sales and distribution of both firm's originated products and funds, as well as funds managed by third party asset managers that have mandated with the firm for placement It is expected that the candidate will over time assume greater responsibility and autonomy for business development in Greater China and South East Asia, including management of client relationships with clients, and origination of new transactions.
Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in a financial services or professional advisory environment; front office banking or finance experience with a sales or client coverage focus preferred but not essential Must be proficient with the MS Office suite of applications, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, or another Asian language, strongly preferred but not essential
