As Sr. Manager Technology delivery for the Ameriprise FSB Bank products, this role will be a champion on banking technology and systems. Work with Banking products and other Ameriprise business teams to understand their priorities and road map to prioritize technology delivery. Provide technical expertise and leadership to a team of highly technical employees. Develop and maintain a high performing team and ensure smooth technology delivery. Provide work direction, delegation and prioritization to team. Ensure compliance with company policies, processes and procedures
Lead the technology delivery for the banking products end to end.
Work with business teams to prioritize and align on the scope for each month tech delivery. Influence the scope with tech improvement / enhancements as well.
Lead the tech delivery team to design/develop/test and deliver on scope, schedule aligned.
Lead an agile/next gen team for successful technology delivery & execution.
Facilitate discussions with business teams and tech. Be a strong communicator.
Provide delivery metrics and frequent status updates to senior leaders.
Mitigate issues/risks and escalate as appropriately and in a timely manner.
Work with cross matrix organization and teams onsite and offsite.
Be an expert in banking systems and technology and understand business.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
7-10 years of relevant experienced required.
Deep and broad technical background with 7-10+ years' experience of progressive. scope/impact/responsibility (including both hands-on and leadership roles) working with relevant enterprise technologies.
3-5+ years of project management experience with a proven track record for delivering projects and driving execution. AGILE experience required.
Demonstrated experience and success in influencing, leading, and coaching without direct leadership responsibility.
Demonstrated superior reasoning and troubleshooting skills.

2+ years of direct people-management experience to include performance management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
Experience working in a multi-vendor (outsourced) environment.
Ability to negotiate or persuade others in complex situations.
