IT Project Manager holds the overall responsibility and accountability for IT project management within the Technology domain. He/she should work in partnership with Compliance, supporting business units from Front Office, Compliance Officers, Operations and Technology to deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule, budget, good quality and with good customer experience.
Establish project plans, resources, budgets
Track project progress, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, issues and risks, communicate project status regularly and timely manner
Plan, track, review project work and activities with multiple development teams, business analysts, testers, business user teams etc.
Manage vendors contracts, to track, review and monitor vendors deliverables
Evaluate and recommend purchases of software, hardware and service vendors where appropriate
Plan, track and ensure project documentations follow the adopted methodology standards, and complete in timely manner
Ensure work deliverables are in compliant with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Experience managing Legal/Regulatory Compliance projects including but not limited to FATCA/CRS, AML/CFT (Anti Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism), KYC and Onboarding Life Cycle Management, Transaction Monitoring
Understanding of technical aspects of system integration in a mix technology environment
10+ years in IT project management in financial institutions delivering projects exceeding multi-millions dollar
Ability to run multiple projects concurrently, working closely with cross-functional team members for delivery, usually under pressure of regulatory deadline
Ability to step into the details when needed to resolve impediments yet has full visibility of end-to-end view of project
Ability to resolve complex problems creatively, recovering troubled projects to successful completion
Experience in managing senior stakeholders with prior experience in running project steering committees
Certification or formal training in project management (PMP) and/or agile methodology (CSM) is an advantage
