At DBS, the Capital Markets Group provides equity funding solutions to our corporate clients in the region, and acts as an intermediary between issuers and our investing clients. We advise and sponsor our clients in their equity fund-raising exercises in connection with their listing ambitions on regional stock exchanges. We help our clients to raise equity funds through primary offering and/or secondary offering of shares and REITs, as well as pre-IPO platform.
Monitor and manage Members' adherence to Rules.
Maintain registers of authorized persons & Registered Representatives of Members.
Ensure market integrity and smooth functioning of the digital business
Highlight any abnormalities in the participants Order-Book in the digital business.
Monitor and respond to alerts (eg latency, connectivity, participants balances, trading limits etc).
Order-Book health checks via the prescribed user-interface
Intraday nett position and settlement monitoring
End-of-day reconciliation and to lead the resolution of any settlement issues.
Monitor the corporate actions of security offering for the digital program.
Escalation management for any breaches / breaks
Collaboration with internal teams within the Bank, external vendors and digital program participants.
Be innovative and decisive in addressing issues and problems
Ensure that the digital program order book and matching facility is functioning efficiently (Market Integrity)
Monitor and manage Member's compliance with Rules.
Advise digital program participants if there have insufficient assets/near their limits or on their post trade queries.
Investigating alerts from trade monitoring, take the necessary actions and make the necessary escalations
Liaising with Custodian(s) and digital program participants to drive Investigations on any trading anomalies or issues from the smart contracts/corporate actions.
Keen to learn, take initiative and go beyond the scope of work
Perform any other duties assigned by the management
Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
Understanding of trade lifecycle from front to middle to back office operations.
Relevant experience either in electronic trading or having worked in an Exchange
Having knowledge and understanding of issuer obligations and corporate actions from securities listing would be an advantage.
Understanding of crypto currencies, how they traded and stored will be an asset.
