The business continues to grow and set new standards and as a result we are currently looking for a highly motivated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team based in Sydney, NSW. The CFO will be a key member of our executive leadership team which will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
This is a replacement role for the incumbent employee and the role will be instrumental in supporting the ongoing commercial success and future sustainability of the organisation.
Managing the processes for financial forecasting, planning, budget creation, legal compliance and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting for the business.
Providing strategic advice and support to the executive management team in all finance matters for the business whilst developing strong relations with senior management, external partners and stakeholders.
Dealing with lenders and the related debt compliance and reporting obligations.
Strong focus on driving efficiencies and continuous improvement across the business globally.
Preparing annual operating budgets and financial models to support business planning, identify business risks and make appropriate recommendations regarding mitigation strategies.
Tax planning and reporting across geographies
Management of all treasury function including cash flow management
Providing leadership, direction and management to the finance and accounting teams across the business globally.
Ensure effective and sustainable financial management for the business and compliance with all aspects of corporate governance.
Ensuring ongoing financial sustainability of the business through continued rigorous cost control and increased revenue growth.
Full stakeholder management including interaction with Shareholder and direct engagement with the Board
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes:
Proven CFO, or Head of Finance ready to take the next step to further their career.
Capable of working in an agile private equity environment
Must hold tertiary qualifications in Accounting and Business or related discipline and be CPA/CA qualified.
Proven capacity to analyse and interpret data to support decision-making and strategic business cases.
Strong experience with accounting packages and advanced excel experience.
Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative and innovation to proactively support continued growth of the business both nationally and globally.
High level of International experience in the oil and gas sector will be highly advantageous.
Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality, accuracy or customer service whilst maintaining a positive and calm professional approach.
