Job Description & Requirements Interactive Brokers is looking to hire a Senior Sanctions Analyst in our Compliance Department in Chicago, IL. Job Responsibilities:
Reviewing and dispositioning escalations related to Sanctions, PEP, and Negative News alerts.
Reviewing and dispositioning Sanctions transactions alerts.
Perform supplementary sanctions due diligence and research for complex sanctions investigations.
Perform cross-functional projects with AML.
Understanding global sanctions regulations and applying knowledge of regulations to Interactive Brokers' policies and procedures.
Interpreting sanctions regulations and monitoring changes to regulations.
Coordinating daily workflow and assisting Sanctions Team lead with oversight.
Drafting procedure updates and internal communications.
Other sanctions-related tasks and projects as needed.
Three or more years of experience at a financial institution in Sanctions Compliance
Knowledge of U.S. and international sanctions regulations (OFAC, BIS, EU, BOE, HMT, UN, OSFI, HKMA, etc.)
Experience in a technically automated environment and/or high degree of comfort with computers and technology.
Ability to develop compliance solutions that satisfy relevant regulations while executing sound judgment.
Ability to work in a small-team environment, work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision.
Bachelor's degree or higher with a major or concentration in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Information Systems, etc.
Series 7 or other FINRA licenses a plus.
ACAMS, CFE, CFCS certifications a plus.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux, SQL or Visual Basic a plus.
