We Offer We are a department which values Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and is committed to realizing the firm's D&I ambition which is an integral part of our global Conduct and Ethics Standards The Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) function is responsible for advising the business on the appropriate standards for compliance with the applicable AML/CFT laws, rules and regulations, advising on higher ML clients and transactions, providing training and monitoring of client activities as well as performing other necessary controls testing etc. You will advise and support Hong Kong FCC team in developing and implementing an effective and compliant FCC Program and play an integral role in identifying and handling FCC risks for CS Hong Kong and ensure that any emerging trends or control issues are appropriately dealt with or raised to Regional FCC and local management Key Responsibilities 1. Policies and Procedures
Monitor, track and ensure all AML relevant legislative and regulatory changes are duly considered and that local AML policies and procedures reflect required regulatory and CS internal standards.
2. Periodic Reviews
Ensure that periodic reviews are appropriately triggered, and where appropriate approved or quality assured.
3. Monitoring, Investigations and Suspicious Activity Reporting
Undertake investigations into any suspicious transactions reported by staff, alerts from the AML monitoring solution (Mantas), regulatory requests, production orders and any other external triggers, etc. Where a suspicion is formed, support the MLRO in drafting the appropriate Suspicious Transaction Report.
Ensuring ongoing monitoring tasks such as CL Search are appropriately dealt with.
Conduct periodic review of Mantas Scenarios and Thresholds review as required.
4. Sanctions Risk Management
Ensure sanction risks including those called out through the sanctions payment filter (Fircosoft) are appropriately handled.
Represent FCC as needed on various Change-The-Bank or Run-the-Bank projects as required.
Identify, coordinate, undertake or lead projects as needed to improve process and application of AML Compliance's policies and procedures.
6. Management Information Reporting
Provide management with sufficient, frequent and objective information to get an accurate picture of the ML risks the bank is exposed through its activities and individual business relationships as well as the efficiency and adequacy of controls and processes.
7. Audits, Inspections and Regulatory Requests
Manage any FCC relevant audits or inspections, including liaise or coordination of audit matters and drafting management responses etc.
Respond to relevant production orders, regulatory enquiries, and requests for information or documentation.
8. FCC Risk Assessment
Contribute to CS annual risk assessment process and deployment of remedial actions.
9. FCC Controls Program
Support the Regional Quality Assurance team as appropriate in performs appropriate controls testing include sample testing or review of exception reports to ensure the AML Program, controls and processes are in line with expected program standards.
Conduct face-to-face FCC training to staff as needed.
New client advisory for complex and EDD relationships and approval of all new EDD relationships.
Any other matters assigned by line manager or department head.

You have been an AML Subject-Matter-Expert with at least 5 years of strong track record including AML Advisory, Investigations and Monitoring and Surveillance experience.
Proven working knowledge of Hong Kong or Singapore AML/CFT laws and regulations and international AML standards (FATF, Wolfsberg). Additional awareness of regional rules would be useful.
Your familiarity with Investment and Private Banking products and services would be beneficial.
