About Our Client The role will cover Equities, Fixed Income and Investment Banking. There is direct interaction with the trading desks, and a range of Operation functions, such as Middle Office, Settlements and Corporate Actions, to name a few. Key to the role is developing relationships with our Product Control colleagues in the London and New York offices and the internal stakeholders both locally and across the regions.
The role offers a candidate the opportunity to be involved in the day to day production, reporting and analysis of the Asia businesses, across asset classes, reporting across multiple periods and a chance to become key personnel in the various projects
Job Description Leading and supervision of following desks and production tasks: Equities (Cash/ETS)
Fixed Income (Credit & IRS) Investment Banking * Flash v Actual Analysis * P&L Commentaries * FOBO Review * Inventory Reporting * T0 Reporting Weekly Commentary analysis for Financial Reporting
Month End Work including: * Balance Sheet substantiation * Reconciliation of reported P&L to ledger * Review of and assistance in IPV process * Adjustment review * MI Front Office Presentations Quarterly Commentary preparation for Global consolidation
Additional responsibilities * Active involvement in enhancements and development of process/system flows to ease automation of P&L production * Ad hoc management reporting * Assist in building out processes for new products sets * Interaction with the regional brokers.
The Successful Applicant * Qualified Accountant a must * 7 years PC experience * Strong Excel knowledge * Strong communication skills * Team player * Ability to automate and rationalise process as necessary
As a supervisory role, the candidate will be expected to liaise and build a strong rapport with a wide range of people and departments not only in the region but with the London and US offices.
The ability to create and maintain remote relationships is essential.
The candidate will need to be flexible and open minded to be able to adapt to new products across business, and look to continually improve both hard and soft skills.
