We are looking to identify two hires for the business - a junior ops analyst and also a senior analyst (manager level).
Both candidates will ideally come from a buy-side background and have experience in operations as well as fund accounting (NAVs); though candidates don't necessarily have to be qualified accountants. The business is sub-25 people hence, collaboration and flexibility are key.
The junior ops analyst will be expected to face off internally on all operational matters - trade lifecycle monitoring, reconciliations, performance reporting etc.
The more senior hire will be the effective number two to the COO and will need to cover all team management duties (5 person) as well as involvement in more strategic projects.
Additionally, the roles include a requirement for advanced end-user programming skills for support and development of internal tools used in the daily operating tasks. This is currently primarily a series of tools written in Visual Basic however future development into other languages and models is being considered.
The successful candidates will be able to show active experience of Fund Operations and end-user IT development in equal measure as the role is a mix of both capabilities.
