We are recruiting for a Senior Capital Projects Actuary to join our General Insurance Team within Aviva.
The Senior Capital Projects Actuary will have a strong mix of relationship management, commercial and technical skills (including Solvency II and General Insurance), and a good understanding of insurance products and markets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the Capital Projects Director or Head of Capital on UK or Group led capital projects, with the focus likely to be primarily on General Insurance at least initially.
Lead the development, investigation, analysis, due diligence and implementation of specific capital projects or workstreams.
Lead provision of information on capital management actions across Aviva which are presented at Aviva Board level.
Prepare or obtain stakeholder input on Steering Group, ALCO etc. papers, communicating.
Provide high quality, flexible support to meet the objectives of the Group-wide Aviva Capital function.
Skills & Experience required:
Demonstrates influencing and relationship skills and ability to build network across business units & functions.
High performer, with ambition and ability to learn quickly.
High qualitative skills: Brings sound judgement to facts/data, with strong analytic, interpretative skills.
Provides key insights and identifies key questions and issues, using financial and technical skills.
