Private Equity Associates at BC Partners ("BCP" or "Firm") have the opportunity to gain investment experience and develop advanced and broad financial skill sets. Associates will work across a range of industries and are integrally involved with many aspects of the investment process, including:
Examining industry trends and identifying new investment themes;
Gathering and synthesizing industry and market data;
Performing initial review of business opportunities and discussing across investment team;
Contributing to key diligence workstreams and coordinating third party diligence advisors;
Leading construction of detailed financial models and valuation analysis;
Contributing to debt financing processes;
Drafting oral and written materials for management and investors, including investment memoranda and preparing Board materials
Supporting and reporting on key developments and initiatives at portfolio companies. Identifying and evaluating value‐creation and strategic opportunities such as M&A or entering new markets/verticals;
Being proactive in all matters arising in the ordinary course of investment management;
Interacting with Boards, the Firm's investors, clients and limited partners
The relatively small team size of BCP offers Associates opportunities to work closely with senior members of the Firm and have extensive interaction with management teams and external advisors across all aspects of the investment process. This role offers the potential for a continued career track, based on mutual interest.

BC Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, candidates should demonstrate:
Good investment instincts; Solid finance, accounting and modeling skills;
Knowledge of business strategy and analysis;
Genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for investing;
Demonstrated ability to write and communicate effectively;
Strong attention to detail;
A maturity and desire that enables the candidate to work in a collaborative team environment
An undergraduate or postgraduate degree (or equivalent), preferably 1st or 2:1
It is essential for candidates to be self‐starters and motivated, with the ability to multi‐task, prioritize, and work independently and within teams. Ideal candidates have prior
experience within Investment Banking, Consulting and/or Private Equity as an Analyst or Associate. Candidates must embody BCP's values, in particular: unquestioned integrity, authenticity, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to partnership, teamwork and excellence.
