The Trade & Database Services Team sits within the Operations team and is responsible for processing pricing, corporate actions, non-trade related transactions and static updates in the back office system.
Oversee Corporate Actions, Pricing and Transaction Processing sections
Ensure that issues escalated by the team are resolved and/or escalated
Ensure that policies and procedures are properly documented and adhered to
Evaluate new product, workflow changes and system enhancements impact to the processes
Manage changes to the above and ensure operationally readiness of the team
Motivate the team to initiate and drive projects to improve team effectiveness and efficiency
Attend to requests for payment authorizations, approvals and fax call-backs
Degree in Accountancy or Banking or Finance
At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial institution back office operations
Driven and self-motivated individual
Meticulous and structured personality
Confidence in communicating with higher management and vendors
Proficient in MS Excel/Access and macro functions
Experience in FIS' InvestOne and XSP system will be an added advantage
