the day-to-day financial operations within the group. The company is dynamic and rapidly expanding and, as such, all employees are required to have an adaptable and flexible approach. This role requires an immediate start and will be for an initial period of 3-6 months.
Oversee the month-end close process, including reviewing and posting payroll, WIP and other relevant journals.
Monthly preparation and reconciliation of the deferred revenue schedule.
Preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts for the group, including KPIs and key business analyses.
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparation of statutory accounts for all legal entities, ensuring compliance with all filing and audit requirements.
Preparation of all financial information for quarterly board packs (to be automated as far as possible).
Design, documentation, implementation and development of all finance systems and processes.
Assist with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics for all entities.
Operation and oversight of key controls (payroll, cash/bank, expenditure).
Ensure that all contracts, pricing and other relevant documents are in place for all revenue streams within group.
Management of working capital and oversight of credit control and CIC conversion.
Management of all tax compliance and planning for the group, supported by external advisers.
ACA or equivalent qualification, ideally big 4 trained.
Experience working at group level with a strong technical skillset.
Proven ability to work independently, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ideally with previous experience managing the needs of internal/external stakeholders.
Advanced Excel, highly numerate with a natural flair for systems, preferably including experience using Dynamics 365.
