This role leads the finance function for the organisation in South East Asia, and is primarily concerned in governing the financial health of the organisation. The job scope also includes:
Overall responsibility for organization's financial and budget management, cash flow and fund management in ensuring organization's financial integrity and interests;
Build, improve, and maintain organization's finance, control and reporting functions;
Monitor company cash flow, expenses and ensure adherence to set company and statutory policies;
Conduct regular stock taking exercises to maintain company asset integrity;
Effectively manage the company's asset integrity and maximize returns in Europe, the United States and other overseas companies; and
Prepare periodic financial, management, and statutory reporting to the CEO.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance OR equivalent in professional certification;
Minimally 10 + years of work experience in handling full set accounts, consolidation and management reporting for an international company;
Familiar with financial reporting standards, accounting principles, tax regulations etc.;
Prior work experience in an international organization is a definite advantage;
Good communication skills and a team player, able to multitask and abide to strict deadlines;
Solution-oriented, analytical, and well organized; and
Ability to travel 30-50% for work.
