The Role Responsibilities Assist Global Account Managers on an aligned client portfolio to ensure strong client delivery of the bank's services and risk mitigation. Provide high level of client service and risk management through account maintenance activities such as Know-Your-Customer due diligence, monitoring of transactions and credit performance. Gather risk-related data from internal or external resources. Identify key risks and mitigating factors of potential transactions, legal and ownership structures, and credit agreements. Document, and ensure communication of key risks. Review and analyze business and financial data and quantify risk using internal statistical models. Ensure data quality of Credit proposals/periodic reviews and input of data in risk management systems. Work with internal stakeholders to recommend ways to control or reduce risk. Prepare presentations and briefing notes for client meetings and coordinate attendance. Assist on the preparation of account strategy and budget reports. Ensure internal revenue and risk weighted asset reporting, client call reports and deal pipelines are up-to-date and accurate. Coordinate and execute credit and non-credit transactions across multiple products and primary geographic footprint (Asia, Africa and the Middle East) and the Americas. Review client documentation and ensure risk mitigation through compliance with Financial Crime Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering policies and US and European Union Financial Regulations. Ensure adherence to all Bank policies and government regulations.
Candidate Requirements Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in the position offered or within the banking industry. Must have two (2) years of experience with all of the following: Evaluating financial statements and reports, and conducting credit analysis and risk assessments, for existing and new clients; Reviewing and compiling client documentation related to FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act), Dodd-Frank, MIFID (Markets In Financial Instruments Directive) and EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation) to ensure compliance with US and European Union financial regulations; Applying Financial Crime Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering knowledge to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and bank risk policies; Identifying new business opportunities, assisting on marketing and executing implementation of cash management, trade finance and foreign exchange products and solutions within the bank's risk appetite; Interacting with clients in a front-office banking sales or client-service position; Preparing pitch books, presentations and briefing notes; Sourcing information for and developing account plans to forecast revenue and capital requirements for individual clients and prospects; Completing transaction execution across two or more product lines within Asia, Africa, Americas, and the Middle East markets; and experience providing advice and guidance to clients on local financial markets and regulations in countries with Asia, Africa and the Middle East markets.
