This role is responsible for the performance and future strategy of the dealing team within Quilter Investors, and the execution of all securities (instrument types) as instructed by the Investment team; adhering to all internal procedures and regulatory requirements whilst seeking to achieve best practice. In addition, as a member of the Operations management team this role will assist the COO Function in identifying and delivering key services to support the Investment team.

About the role Some of the key responsibilities and scope of the role are outlined below:
Responsible for the provision of a quality, value added execution service for all types of financial instruments; to include but not limited to, equities (including Investment trusts and ETFs), fixed income securities, exchange traded futures and options across all asset types, FX and money market instruments, interest rates swaps and credit default swaps
Oversee the execution of trading in collective investment schemes
Ensure "best execution" is a process of continuous improvement and establish suitable oversight procedures and assess (and respond to) the impact of market structure changes and fintech solutions
Ensure all dealing is executed within internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
Provide ongoing market insight to the Investment team and wider business regarding trading volumes, liquidity, volatility, pricing levels and market sentiment.
