A member of the Capital Markets Team, responsible for the execution and marketing of vanilla OTC options, light exotic and structured products in the Equities, Hybrids & Commodities space.The candidate will be heavily involved in the sales, marketing and syndication of Structured Products and OTC derivatives (light and exotic). This will involve idea generation, product design, construction, implementation and support and will require extensive involvement in the pre and post trade processes. This includes pricing and marketing the products, documentation manufacture, trade execution / booking and aftersales. The team member will have constant interaction with the Banker / IC Community, some end clients and the control functions. There will also be a requirement to provide assistance to management in reporting and regulatory oversight.
Part of the integrated asset-class team, pricing and executing orders for equity, commodity and hybrid products (Structured Product & OTC). The candidate will source and deliver investment ideas and manage the syndication effort for primary structured product issuance to Citi Private Bank clients, directly and indirectly.
Actively enable and develop the syndication effort around high conviction ideas. This will involve idea generation, product pricing / implementation, documentation production (drafting, approval coordination).
Develop the sales / marketing and after-sales process.
Communicate/deliver/close on client investment proposals and new account pitches as part of the overall client team
Ensure conformity with global Firm standards of client service, regulatory, compliance, and operating model
Increase connectivity and engagement between Markets and Citi Private Bank clients and staff.
Actively participate in daily morning meetings and marketing team sales calls
Assist with the roll-out and development of the project work needed to expand and improve on the platform and product infrastructure.
Assist and manage the regular MIS activity (Mgmt Reporting, daily sales reporting, blotter maintenance, various ad-hoc metric requests.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
15+ years of experience
Extensive/proven sales and trading experience in financial services and the Structured Products sector, including Equity derivatives and light exotic products / Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with both internal staff and external clients / Self motivated
An additional language to English is beneficial, but not essential
Extensive CM/Structured Products knowledge and experience / Good interpersonal and communication skills essential / Strong IT skills essential / Strong analytical skills essential / Ability to develop strong working relationships across functional and geographical lines.

APAC Capital Markets Credit Solutions Role: The APAC Capital Markets Team at Citi Private Bank (CPB) are seeking to hire a highly experienced Capital Markets credit professional to help coordinate the development of credit solutions for the APAC Capital Markets business. This professional will be based in either Hong Kong or Singapore and will report to the CPB APAC Head of Capital Markets. The individual will work closely with the CPB & Markets Risk teams and CPB Investment Finance to deliver comprehensive credit solutions suitable for our Capital Markets clients' investment portfolios and strategic solutions. Responsibilities:
This individual will be the primary point of contact between Capital Markets and Risk/IF, with overall responsibility for structuring and negotiating efficient credit solutions for CPB clients.
This role will encompass credit initiatives related to: (i) trading & investment products; and (ii) strategic solutions relationships (MDA) and transactions (SES, SRS, CRE, etc.).
This individual will partner with Product Specialists, Investment Counselors and Bankers and to assess client and/or transaction requirements, align PSE line availability to support trading & investment activities, and manage credit structuring and approvals for strategic solutions trades.
The individual will work with Investment Finance and Risk to periodically review Product Programs related to extending credit, including PSE lines and Loanable Value to ensure consistency between APAC and other regions.
The individual will work with our largest Family Office clients that are active across asset classes and products to assess credit needs on an ongoing basis, and provide credit insights to facilitate onboarding processes including the ISDA negotiation and documentation requirements.
Develop relationships required to guide and drive approval processes with Risk and Credit functions across ICG, notably FIRM/GIRM when CPB clients transact with Markets & Securities Services (MSS).
Champion and develop new Credit Methodologies for Capital Markets at CPB.
Requirements: Candidates must have strong analytical skills and be able to use both qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze complex financial situations. Candidates must have strong problem-solving abilities and experience in developing and executing large, bespoke transactions. Candidates must demonstrate an interest, knowledge, experience and expertise in financial markets, as well as possessing excellent analytical, organizational, attention to detail, communication, leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills. Initiative, energy, and confidence to achieve strong business results. Judgment and discretion in working with highly confidential information are also critical. Candidate must be capable of multi-task in a fast paced environment.
10+ years of experience in Capital Markets Risk, Credit or similar role
Knowledge of risk drivers for Capital Markets Products across Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Credit, Structured Notes and OTC Derivatives
Comfort with Market Risk and Credit Risk parameters.
Superior problem solving and analytical skills; ability to influence decision making incorporating quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. As this role crosses over lines of business between Capital Markets and Investment Finance, it is critical to build strong partnerships and a team based approach.
Results Driven and Experience implementing a business strategy at a regional / global level.
Undergraduate Degree Required / MBA or CFA a plus
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with familiarity of working with large amounts of data
