Enterprise Continuity Services (ECS) develops and oversees a global program that governs the business in the creation of effective and risk appropriate continuity and recovery solutions to support the continuation of critical processing and servicing of our clients.
Job Summary The Enterprise Continuity Services (ECS) Business Continuity Program Analyst will report to the Business Continuity Program Lead and is primarily responsible for supporting the development of State Street's global ECS program frameworks, as well as providing guidance to regional leads and relationship managers on program requirements, applicable controls, and guidelines. A key component of this role will be to identify gaps and areas for improvement in the ECS program, and work to continuously evolve the program to both corporate and regulatory standards. The Business Continuity Program Analyst will also create and provide training materials to other members of the ECS team on new and ongoing program initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities Program Support
Assist in the development of State Street's global Business Continuity framework at a program level (i.e. Business Impact Analysis, BC planning, BC testing frameworks), inclusive of planning and testing technology resilience, third party resilience, incident management, and business continuity
Collaborate with ECS regional leads and relationship managers to provide oversight and quality assurance of organization's continuity program
Consistently seek to identify gaps and improvement areas in the ECS program, and escalate/report on this information to ECS management appropriately. Contribute to remediation plan develop of said gaps/improvement areas
Deliver training to regional ECS leads and relationship managers on all aspects of the continuity program, including new program components and initiatives, ongoing program requirements, supporting technologies, etc.
Support the Business Continuity Program Lead and other key members of ECS leadership to prepare responses for regional regulatory reviews/examinations as required or driven by compliance and business lines
Partner with crisis management team to support regional/global incidents as required, potentially during non-work hours
Partner with the ECS BC Program lead in developing and operationalizing Concentration risk framework
Monitor data related to program standards and controls to check consistency and accuracy of required / routine submissions and screen business line program compliance
Partner with other ECS teams to highlight and raise risks identified through program support activity where appropriate
Support ECS Management in responding to inquiries from the second and third lines of defense, as well as any regulatory requests
Support the review and creation of program metrics, and development of common report specifications related to ECS program and business line continuity change control requests
Provide backup support in administration of BCMS and BC Program enhancement.
Minimum five plus years' Business Continuity experience
Experience in the financial services industry or global experience
Continuity certification preferred
Project Management, analysis and reporting experience beneficial
Third party risk management and disaster recovery experience in a financial services industry is a strong plus
Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, drive results, and meet deadlines
Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills required
