To lead scalable projects for regulatory and compliance requirements change, operations service expansion, work efficiency/accuracy improvement related projects. Also to identify opportunities/issues for Life Administration and recommend actions to Senior Management.
Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to management of any post implementation issues:manage the backlog of change requests, agreeing shifting prioritizations with the user community; defining and owning the ongoing maintenance of the roadmap in close cooperation with business stakeholders
Chair/Facilitate regular project meetings, follow up with project team members as required to focus on business and operational issues/technical issues; monitoring all project issues to ensure clearance with minimal impact to project progress
Produce effective progress reports to keep senior management appraised of project status, major risks and issues, scope changes, resource changes and milestone achievement or misses
Identify emerging business issues and/or opportunities in Life Administration during the course of project handling/trend and analyses, lead changes, recommend feasible solutions/actions and drive the implementation of action items agreed with Senior Management
Anticipate and identify potential issues/opportunities in LOE; recommend actions to Senior Management; drive changes in LOE & recommend best practices/policies for LOE continuous improvement
Maximize contribution of each LOE members by concise assessment on and effective mobilization of LOE resources with reference to the most up-to-date work prioritization as well as the practical needs to ensure quality deliverables as per agreed project schedule; and regular and continuous staff nurturing program
Day to day management of Business Analyst Team and resolve problems escalated from the team
Degree holder in any discipline
At least 10 years relevant practical experience with minimum 4 years in management level
Proven ability to lead delivery of scalable projects
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent people management with strong desire to lead by example
