As a smaller business working in a global market, we can offer you the interesting experience of working closely with private equity clients in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. You will be supporting PE clients, supporting them directly with creating opportunities using your expertise to introduce commercial and operational insights. This is a rare opportunity that will allow the successful applicant access to senior clients and directors and to be involved in advising on commercial deals.
We are currently looking for a specialist to drive forward our Healthcare division. As a result we require the successful candidate to have knowledge in the healthcare sector; covering within their commercial due diligence project experience not only front line providers such as Trusts and care homes, but also back office operations knowledge of wider associated healthcare-specific IT systems and operational practices.
As one of the largest independent commercial due diligence providers working in the UK private equity market, our reputation is intrinsic to our success and so as a member of our team this also becomes, partially, your responsibility.
You will need:
Degree, MBA or equivalent experience
Circa 3 years experience working as a consultant and the desire to move to a senior consultant role
Circa 2 years working within the healthcare sector offering CDD advice with proven project lead experience
Good working knowledge of the private equity market
A high level of interpersonal awareness and influencing skills
To be able to engage with senior level staff, internally and externally, inspiring confidence at board level
Proven ability to take large complex sets of data and extract quickly what is relevant, developing compelling and actionable summaries preferably within the healthcare sector.
Proven project experience, operating and delivering under significant pressure and to tight deadlines
Highly developed commercial awareness and strategic vision
Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
A desire to progress and grow both professionally and personally

To manage client meetings and expectations.
To manage a team of consultants to deliver timely and insightful projects.
To conduct detailed primary and desk research on any industry or commercial sector requested by a client. This may involve conducting phone-based as well as in-street interviews in person.
To manage research assignments as well as modules of larger projects.
To be able to prepare and present financial models for business planning purposes
To report on and/or document findings, key conclusions and recommendations clearly and concisely and in a compelling format.
To work closely with other members of the team to share knowledge, expertise and experience.
To give the client the most detailed, accurate and rounded advice in response to their business requirements following detailed research
