Assistant Manager, QA, ORM and Compliance Responsibilities:
The candidate will support the Head of QA, ORM and Compliance in the delivery of the duties in relation to ML/TF prevention and detection, investigation or compliance;
Conduct and perform day-to-day and regular compliance testing and review and monitoring and management/regulatory reporting;
Assist the review of the AML/KYC compliance controls and identify areas for improvement;
Provide AML compliance advisory services to business units;
Assist the execution of AML/KYC programs for the Bank, and co-ordinate with relevant departments on AML/CTF matters to ensure effective implementation of the controls;
Review and advise on CDD KYC in meeting the Group and local regulatory requirements;
Review and clear the name screening alerts which assessed and submitted by business units;
Investigate the escalated unusual transaction report and submit the suspicious transaction report to regulator if any;
Assist in conducting AML training and annual refresher training;
Advise on screening findings, hits and sanction compliance for transaction screening;
Organize and handle ad hoc projects/tasks as assigned from time to time.
Degree holder in Accounting / Law / Business, or relevant professional qualification such as AAMLP/CAMLP;
2 years' hands-on working experience in banking industry relating to AML or compliance;
Familiar with AML related regulatory requirements;
Organized, details-oriented and independent;
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Good command of English and Chinese;
Flexible and able to work independently to meet tight schedules;
Experience in developing or updating AML related compliance control procedures.
(Candidate with more experience may be considered as Manager, QA, ORM and Compliance.)
