As a Director in Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations, your prime responsibility will be to:
Corporate Strategy/ Planning
Facilitate the CEO and Head of CEO Office to plan and develop long term corporate strategies in order to materialize the Bank's vision and objectives.
Develop long-term strategic plan that is in line with the Bank's vision and strategic positioning. Keep track of the progress of strategic initiatives to minimize Strategic Risk.
Lead, coordinate and/or participate in corporate initiatives including bringing in new investors, establishing joint venture business, raising capital to replenish capital levels or any other transformation projects and new businesses.
Manage relationship with investors including financial investors, debt investors and analysts by providing business updates, arranging communications and handling ad hoc requests etc.
Manage requests from external stakeholders including but not limited to the Bank, the subsidiaries of the Bank, external auditors and regulators through consistent and clear communications.
Be responsible for rating agency engagement, institutional investor liaison and analyst relationships management to promote a conducive and positive environment for the Bank's ongoing debt issuance.
Lead the preparation of annual / interim financial reports and result announcements in cooperation with Finance Management Group, which is mainly responsible for financial disclosure.
Lead and facilitate the annual budget process and work closely with CEO, Head of CEO Office and senior management to ensure the financial KPIs establish are in line with the strategy of the Bank.
Analyze and present competitive analysis to senior management and board members to ensure strategies are well grounded taking into consideration insights from competitors.
Strategic Risk Management
Held accountable for strategic risk management of the Bank by monitoring the ongoing risk profile against the approved appetite.
Support CEO/ Head of CEO office to review draft deliverables to the external parties and regulator.
Work with Legal and Compliance Department to ensure compliance on regulatory matters
skills & experiences required.
Degree holder preferably in Finance, Economics, Management, Communications, Marketing or related disciplines.
15 - 20 years' relevant experience in media, investor relations, public relations, research, corporate planning and business management preferably in banking and financial industry
7-10 years of experience in management
Professional qualification such as CFA and CPA will be an advantage.
