The incumbent manages the day to day banking relationshipfor an assigned portfolio of private banking clients. Many of theassigned clients could be high profile investment clients as well as clients ofthe Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). Responsibilities includeclient inquires/requests; verifying clientdocumentation; coordinating KYC/AML processes and proceduresfor client portfolio; coordinating communication with theclient; executing and managing any projects relative to clientportfolios. Coordinates banking services with investment service and PershingAdvisory Solutions for shared clients. Incumbent responsible forassisting Private Bankers in managing and recording/tracking day-to-day activitiesand programs. Assist banker with completing marketable secured loan requeststhrough the FAST system and completing loan advances. Substantial independencein day to day management of, and decision making on, client matters andopportunities in support of requests received from the RIA, end client and thePrivate banker. The incumbent will work closely with the Private Bankingteams, the RIAs, Pershing Client Services liaison in addition to the endclient.
The incumbent must address a variety of client-initiatedconcerns/questions on a recurring basis. Ability to handle difficultclient situations is critical in developing new business opportunities withclient, as well as existing business. Must be able to handle multipleissues and meet short deadlines. Capable of managing assigned clients andtasks with minimal direction and be a point of contact with the client for allclient data gathering information. Also, meet the servicing requirementsof the Private Banking clients which include, but are not limited to,identifying and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
The incumbent will interact with internal/external clientsboth verbally and via written communication. The incumbent mustdemonstrate sensitivity to the client's concerns and project a professionalimage when dealing with the client. The incumbent must be able toeffectively interact with professionals at all levels (both internally andexternally) in order to provide responses to inquiries received and to ensurethat the business unit accurately interprets and complies with instructionsprovided. Ability to make decisions and take actions independently withinthe policies and procedures of the corporation.
Qualifications The qualified candidate must have 3-5 years client service experience with banking products (including deposit, loan processing, and brokerage products). BA/BS degree preferred.
