Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will have accountability for all aspects of risk management across the businesses in Singapore. Overseeing risk management process for the business in Vietnam. Accountable for the development of ongoing risk policies, processes and procedures to ensure identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring and reporting.
Responsible for balancing all stakeholder needs and interests, and ensuring the business operates at a best practice level while promoting a healthy risk culture. Provide leadership and guidance to all functional areas related to the management of risk. Proactively establish and oversee the implementation of appropriate risk management programs to ensure that the business is in compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Provide independent risk oversight for the business. The Risk Management function is accountable to ensure adherence to all policies, processes and limits by the various business areas. Provide support for the Risk Management function for the business in Vietnam. Ensure that the business strategy is aligned with the risk appetite defined by the Risk Committee. Determine strategic direction for the risk management program, covering new and existing business, and ensuring speed of delivery and quality service.
To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in asset management. Extensive knowledge of asset management and issues related to the operation of the business. An understanding of quantitative analytics and modeling techniques is an advantage. Demonstrated strategic, tactical and analytical skills. Demonstrated solid reasoning and judgment skills in decision-making. Superior interpersonal, communication and change management skills.
