WDP Compliance provides oversight and guidance to the business to ensure that it has sufficient capability to be compliant with regulations, reduce operational risks and build trust with its customers.
Do work that matters Reporting to the Executive Manager Framework, Policy and Advisory, you will review, support and advise the business and Line 2 business facing teams on key compliance matters include framework application. On any given day you will:
Identify and provide compliance insight and oversight over WDP with regard to the application of the compliance framework and the management of compliance risk;
Act as the liaison point between Group Compliance and business facing Line 2 Compliance and Risk Teams for Framework and policy discussions, advocacy and implementation;
Support the effective implementation of Group policy changes in the business;
Provide Compliance input on Incident, Issues and Risk in Change activities as required;
Provide support, guidance and governance over Licensing related areas;
Participate in independent reviews of the effectiveness of Compliance risk management practices and the control environment;
Advise, review and challenge as necessary on Compliance related reporting (including metrics and KRIs);
Review and assess specific incidents as required and review conduct thematic assessment to identify trends and insights;
Assist in thematic monitoring and assurance across selected compliance risk areas within WDP;
Review the effectiveness of the Groups Compliance frameworks, tools and training and recommend improvements.
We're interested in hearing from people who possess:
Demonstrated experience in Compliance, Legal, Risk or Controls, specifically within Financial Services;
Ability to manage multiple and complex stakeholders with excellent communication skills;
Experience in conducting monitoring activities and assurance reviews;
Ability to demonstrate independence, provide oversight and challenge senior management on decisions and processes regarding strategy and compliance;
Exposure to privacy compliance.
