Supportsa standard legal entity, line of business, country, region or accountingprocess, as assigned. Contributes to the completion of numerous activities fromstart to close including, general ledger reconciliations and sub ledgerreconciliation (monthly, quarterly or annually). May complete otherassignments, as needed, including standard accounting activities. Assists withend to end accounting processes and research required to transform data intoinformation for reporting purposes. Assisting with continuousimprovement activities such as the identification and analysis of exceptions,providing support for audits and completing assigned tasks to support themaintenance of the control environment. May complete special projectactivities, as assigned. With guidance, performs reconciliations ofgeneral ledger accounts or other financial data. Identifies and escalatesissues, as needed. May review journal entries and/or reconciliations completedby less experienced professionals. Participates in assignments across lines ofbusiness, legal entities and geographies that have an impact on internalreporting, accounting and accounting processes. Assignments may includecontributing to the implementation of new or revised reporting, accounting andaccounting process policies, procedures and reporting templates in order toprovide effective financial planning, accounting and reporting of financialinformation. Contributes to the identification and reporting of risks, patternsor recurring issues. No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of theassigned line of business, country, region or accounting process' objectives.Modified based upon local regulations/requirements.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Accounting concentration preferred. 3-5 years of total work experience preferred; knowledge of GAAP and accounting and finance concepts and analysis techniques preferred. Experience designing financial models and accounting processes preferred.
