An interesting position on the execution of the Business Compliance Mandate specifically around the area of providing Compliance advisory and support to Investment Banking, Financing Solutions, and Credit Portfolio Management & Syndication departments
In this function you would be part of a wider Business Compliance team providing Compliance coverage for the Corporate and Investment Banking Business Areas of SUB (Swiss Universal Bank)
Provide timely advice, approvals and mentorship on a wide range of regulatory issues, policies, products, procedures and controls
Assist in regulatory reviews, including inquiries, audits and assessments of business activities and controls
You are going to conduct annual Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) to identify and assess Compliance risks and control gaps and define mitigating measures
Implement and update coverage-area specific policies and procedures
Identify, assess severity and follow up on breaches and compliance-related incidents
Provide input for reputational risk assessments related to clients and transactions
You will deliver applicable training for business units and interact closely with Legal, Control Room and other control functions
A generally challenging and interesting role within a fast-paced environment
A degree from University or university of applied sciences or alternatively a commercial apprenticeship
A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience preferably within Compliance in a banking environment
Good knowledge of banking services and products, preferably in the area of Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Commercial Banking
Understanding of the Swiss banking regulatory environment
Proficiency in both English and German
High ethical and control standards, commensurate with working in a critical control function
You have strong analytical skills, a high attention to detail and you can manage interdependencies effectively
Quick learner and ability to understand complex situations and apply judgment to solve issues in a timely manner
Team player, strong communicator with excellent presentation skills
You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive, empathetic personality and can-do attitude who loves to prioritize multiple challenging assignments
