The Role Responsibilities & Our Ideal Candidate
The role is responsible to define and articulate business requirements in managing, mitigating and remediating operational and regulatory risks and translate the requirements into control protocols to be integrated into the FM trading systems. The role will be within the FM COO Conduct & Controls team overseeing the Rules Engine project.
Stakeholders: Process Owners, Risk Owners, Business Heads, Technology, Compliance, Group Operational Risk, Group Internal Audit.
Strong knowledge on FM operations and regulatory environments, systems, processes and controls.
Strong interpersonal skills, capable of developing excellent working relationships with individuals across the business and its support functions and comfortable in driving change.
Project management experience or able to demonstrate the ability to lead and manage numerous tasks and projects simultaneously and delivering quality outcomes to strict timelines.
Strong communication and analytical skills. Ability to distil information to identify issues and to propose solutions or actions.
Excellent data analytics and presentation skills via MS Office, Visio, SharePoint, Tableau, Confluence, etc.
Bachelor's degree or higher
At least 5 years work experience in banking operations
At least 3 years work experience in operational controls and governance
Preferably 3-5 years' experience in Financial Markets business support functions (operations/technology)
