The Client and Market Intelligence Analyst, AVP role will join a strategic analytics team that exists to provide insights that lead to incremental revenue through data analytics for State Street Bank and Trust's global custody and safekeeping business, including all elements of our new Alpha product offering. Typical work products include share of wallet, opportunity, and pricing analysis for client-level across all products, and for the product-level across all-clients. The ideal candidate will have a tireless work ethic, a passion for analytics, strong communication and team skills, interpersonal tact, and confident expertise with analytical tools, including mastery of Excel, modeling experience and will benefit from other skills sets including Tableau, Alteryx, Python, R, and SQL.

What you will be responsible for
As a Client and Market Intelligence Analyst, AVP, you will
Integrate State Street and market data to unlock insights into client, product, and market segment share of wallet and revenue potential, and support our sales and relationship management teams in developing revenue improvement strategies via analytical innovation;
Leverage competitive intelligence and incorporate into State Street's commercial agenda;
Support Corporate Finance, Sector Solutions, Strategy, and business units in driving day-to-day performance transparency.
Perform share of wallet and pricing research/discovery, innovation, projection, and modeling efforts, leveraging and functionalizing internal and external data sources.
Develop and document products for analytics that derive business insights; continue to refine the analytics based on execution/success lessons-learned lifecycle
Assess internal and external data/analytical approach quality and usefulness, Communicate recommendations to management through effective oral and written communication
Mentor our geographically distributed workforce analysts in data discovery, organization, modeling, and visualization
Collaborate with State Street partners and other potential sources of data or strategic insights to identify data or analytical approaches that support innovation or refinement of data sourcing/quality and analytical techniques and integration with State Street's data management and client interaction processes.
Represent Client and Market Intelligence Managing Director in formal and informal working groups, committees, and first, second and third lines of defense constituents, including model validation group and Corporate Audit, as applicable.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. CFA, MBA or advanced degree a plus. 5+ years of relevant experience. Market Research / Analytics experience a plus Strategy Consulting experience with analytics focus a plus State Street experience is a plus.
