Global Treasury (GT) is responsible for overall balance sheet management including credit, interest rate, and liquidity risk management.
Perform monthly surveillance of U.S. securitized portfolio holdings including asset-backed securities (ABS), commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and collateral loan obligations (CLO)
Compile and review performance information from data sources including Intex and Bloomberg
Run existing automated surveillance tools
Identify performance trends and weak securities that exceed established tolerance levels
Summarize and communicate findings to Boston based team
Monitor security rating changes of U.S. securitized portfolio holdings
Document and report daily changes
Summarize and communicate findings to Boston based team, ERM, etc
Perform UCI security identification review and approval process for new purchases
Volcker database maintenance include new fund and removal activity
Quarterly Broker Scorecard (in development)
Education and Experience:
Minimum of undergraduate degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics related field,MBA preferred
Minimum 6 years related experience
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
An interest in structured products and fixed-income investing is imperative
Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic
Strong knowledge of the MS Office suite of products including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Ability to follow through on assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to perform in both team and independent environments
Ability to take initiative, be flexible, organized, and detail-oriented
Strong written and verbal communication
Must possess strong communication skills with ability to participate in conference calls and contribute to presentation of financial results to financial and non-financial audiences at various levels of seniority
Solid business knowledge as it relates to the financial services industry
