Purpose of Role: The Assistant Vice President of the IMS Service Control Team will be the single point of contact for the Client and help resolve settlement issues with BOTH Middle and Back Office.
The Assistant Vice President of the IMS Service Control Team is responsible for all escalation and inquiry resolution for the Client
Ensure that the team develops and maintains a clear understanding of their tasks and of the Client requirements
Establish a strong relationship with the Client
Proactive approach and the ability to work independently
Regular and accurate reporting and escalation as needed
Ensures timely investigation and resolution of all day-to-day inquiries to and from the Client spanning back and middle office
Work to collaborate and resolve settlement issues, recon issues and Client inquiries with Middle and Back Office
Identify trends and work to mitigate or eliminate re-occurring item
Own resolution of failing and unmatched items inclusive of derivative products
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
5 years of IMS / Bank Experience - Ideal candidate will be fluent in IMS and Bank operations
7 to 8 years of related financial service experience
Very good understanding of financial market activities and transactions including derivatives
Very strong problem solving, customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and influence desired end results
Ability to effectively manage staff
