Analysts will be responsible for client onboarding support to Business for Transaction Management process, specifically related to the ETD/SWIFT testing process. Responsibilities will also include working with client to establish the parameters of the test effort, reviewing SWIFT formatted messages to ensure they meet market practice and SSC standards, Setting up data in production and communication back and forth with the client. This team also performs the setting up of Outbound SWIFT messages requests as well as Level 3 support for Help Desk questions related to Inbound Swift messages.
Successful candidates will have demonstrated work experience in:
Onboarding client / Investment Managers SWIFT messages into Custody and Accounting applications
Knowledge and experience in various security products like equities, bonds, fixed incomes, derivatives, short term securities and more.
Understanding the business processes and business requirements as they relate to Transaction Management and the platforms that process these transactions.
Perform application configuration and provide issue triage related to trade, functionality errors during Onboarding testing.
Working as part of Deployment Team, including analysis, development, testing, and interacting with other teams.
Proactively discovering issues and resolving them before business impact.
Participate in onboarding client / Investment Managers SWIFT messages into State Street's Custody and Accounting applications.
Conduct implementation of multiple projects.
Work with the Client/IM to define the parameters of the test request
Perform the testing by reviewing the clients test messages and providing them clear and accurate feedback.
Work with multiple business units on trade data analysis and understanding what types of products a client trades
Liaise with internal teams to ensure all deployment activities - testing, data setup and operational readiness are well coordinated
Investigate inquiries from various State Street organizations and follows through to ensure that implementation problems and issues are addressed
Keep current internal procedures updated
Successful candidates MUST have:
3-5 years of work experience in financial services
Working experience with SWIFT messages
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related disciplines
Excellent communication and analytic skills
Demonstrated experience in transaction management
Additional desired skills:
Experience in the End -to - End process of client onboarding / implementation.
Knowledge of the SWIFT/ISITC format
Familiarity with SSC applications - MCH. GTM, GRS & BESS
Knowledge of the different security types , regulations and other market practices related to processing of trade messages
