Provide implementation and support services to internal users on various Straight-thru-Processing (STP) applications (IMS Enterprise). Assist in the analysis of current processes and recommend solutions and improved processes; act as subject matter expert on impact of systems changes to business processes. Participate in reviewing specifications, and developing rollout, transition and implementation plans and procedures. Coordinate training and documentation of new functionality. Provides initial help desk support as part of rollout process and actively participates in all meetings with Project Team members and User groups. Actively complete all Release documentation and checkout processes, including weekend releases. Individuals should have 3-5 years' experience in a business environment / industry experience and / or general working knowledge of web based applications, working knowledge of application architecture and market data vendor research tools. Internal State Street Corporation (SSC) experience is a plus.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in technology finance, business or equivalent would be beneficial.
EXPERIENCE: Three to Five years of experience in the Financial Services industry and/or implementation related experience preferred. Knowledge of ETC (Electronic Trade Confirmation) and ETD (Electronic Trade Delivery) processes would be beneficial.
SKILLS: Knowledge of Electronic Trade Confirmation (ETC), Electronic Trade Delivery (ETD), Custody system processes, MS Office & Access. Candidate must be a team player with strong time management and organizational skills along with having the ability to work independently. Candidate must have effective communication skills and be able to interact with multiple layers of management along with the ability to facilitate meetings involving individuals from a number of different business areas.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates in project planning and management by documenting and maintaining plans, managing issue logs and preparing project documentation. Monitors central mailbox for user queries. Assists in the analysis of client static data requirements and conducts offline meetings (where necessary) with Business Ops teams to discuss relevant data. Assists in the configuration of the Test and Production environments. Assists in providing weekly and as needed, detailed project status reports to the Program PMO. Participates in defining business/system requirements by facilitating user meetings and interviewing users, developing use cases, and researching and resolving issues. Assists in testing end to end operating model and system releases, some weekend work required in this space. Global Transactions Manager (GTM) Specific Qualifications
Business Knowledge - Experience within any of the following domains: STP or Transaction processing knowledge, market data content and tools experience, static data knowledge and recordkeeping knowledge.
