In any given week you will
Support the EM, Enterprise Risk Advisory in the design, implementation and oversight of CBA's Risk Management Framework (Risk Appetite, Risk Management Approach, Risk Management Declaration, Stress Testing, Annual Report, External Comprehensive Reviews etc.)
Provide advice and support the delivery of meaningful reporting in the area of risk management to the Board and management committees, our risk-type framework owners CROs and Business Unit/Support Unit risk teams to make conscious risk decisions that are within Risk Appetite.
Support the management of strategic risks across the Group, in particular to address key risk or compliance areas of concern and manage new or emerging risks facing the banking and financial services sector.
Determine and research risk management better practice by monitoring internal Group activities and external market trends, competitor activity and regulatory pipeline to guide the Group in delivering effective and efficient approaches to the way we define, manage, monitor and report on risk.
Monitor the Group's compliance with its prudential requirements relating to Risk Management, in particular CPS 220, and support the GCRO and Board in fulfilling their specific obligations.
Role model a collaborative culture across the Risk Management function work with our business partners to better incorporate the risk management into the way we do business.

We're interested in hearing from people who have
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline - business or risk discipline
Senior Manager level experience in a relevant risk related role or
Risk Mindset -All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks
Sound stakeholder management and influencing skills, ability to build rapport
Strong written and oral communication
