See yourself in our team Wealth Risk Management Colonial First State (WRMCFS) is the designated risk management function of Colonial First State (CFS). WRMCFS acts as a trusted advisor to CFS on all risk related matters and also performs all Line 2 functions in accordance with Group requirements.
Do work that matters Reporting to the Executive Manager Compliance and Regulatory Reform, you will develop, promote and implement the Group's Compliance Risk Management Framework. You will be responsible for:
Providing advice regarding compliance obligations and likely/potential breaches;
Partnering with CFS to develop compliance controls and undertaking Line 2 controls testing;
Monitoring CFS' compliance with regulatory obligations and internal policies, and standards;
Assisting with the breach reporting process including drafting notifications to regulators and regulator requests and queries;
Developing and/or enhancing managed investment scheme and superannuation compliance plans including assisting with the ongoing monitoring of compliance;
Assisting the Executive Manager with periodic communications, reporting, engagements, presentations and workshops with the CFS leadership team, Board and Board committee;
Partnering the business and stakeholders on projects and provide oversight, advice and challenge;
Conducting Line 2 assurance assessments on the completeness of the scope and delivery risk of regulatory reform initiatives/projects;
Advising the CFS business on regulatory reform initiatives, including understanding the new or changed obligations and the risks involved (both delivery and delivered);
Coordinating management attestation to support risk sign-offs/certifications;
Conducting targeted post implementation assurance reviews to ensure that change has been successfully embedded and controls remain operating effectively as designed.
We're interested in hearing from people who possess:
Wealth Management experience;
Proven experience within Risk Management and/or Audit;
Teamwork focus with excellence in driving results and delivering customer satisfaction;
Ability to communicate with and influence senior stakeholders;
Undergraduate qualifications in Law, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
