Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Closely monitor and proactively manage emerging risks for IBGO, with a focus on risk areas such as Fraud risk and Finance.
Leverage on data analytics to drive new risk management framework.
Represent IBGO at risk forums and explain risk initiatives to stakeholders.
Monitor risk landscape, MIS and control scorecard to analyse IBGO risk profile and highlight adverse trends for actions.
Provide risk & control advisory to line managers/ location risk managers on control lapses and deep dive into root cause analysis.
Review UDMA used by IBGO units and residual risk acceptance across regions to ensure appropriateness for approval.
Drive and implement risk & control framework and standards across all IBGO locations to identify, assess, monitor and control operational risk with a focus on Fraud and Finance risk.
Manage regional risk & control projects for IBGO globally.
Participate actively in the IBGO Risk meeting to effectively communicate key risk initiatives and control topics to location IBGO heads and risk managers.
Raise staff awareness on risk & control, and trainings provided where required
Regionalize and standardize best control practices across locations.
Perform thematic review for emerging trend of risk and control weaknesses.
University degree with at least 5 â€" 10 years of experience working in financial institutions in a risk/ control capacity.
Adequate understanding of regulatory environment in banking.
Hands-on experience and good appreciation of operational risk management, preferably with experience in fraud/ finance risk areas and risk data analytics.
Ability to deep dive into details whilst keeping sight of the big picture.
Knowledge of banking, policies, processes, controls and systems.
Good presentation skills.
Proactive, self- starter, collaborative, good organization and time management, with a positive can do attitude.
Team player with good interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
