The requirement is for an experienced dealmaker to play a key role in shaping and driving the strategic vision for this small, growing firm while putting the appropriate structures in place to facilitate this growth. The COO will double as the Head of Coverage and - in the first instance - boost the firm's deal origination and execution capabilities through a combination of his/her existing commercial relationships, product knowledge, technical skill and leadership abilities. They will lighten the burden on the CEO by taking oversight responsibility for the staff and operations in London, Lagos and Dubai. The role will be based in London.

Extensive experience of arranging debt-financing transactions for large corporates and financial institutions demonstrable by:
A track record of ten (10) or more years;
Hands-on experience of deal-making in emerging and frontier markets;
An established network of relationships with international bank and non-bank lenders with appetites for EM risk
Experience of leading successful teams in high-pressure environments
Relationships with major banks and corporates in Africa would be a welcome, though not essential, bonus
