You will be part of a new team that provides oversight, insight and control in relation to prescriptive models used across risk classes including capital, funding and liquidity risk, credit, market, operational, conduct and compliance, cyber risks and more.
You will be performing independent validations to challenge these models' scope of application, implementation, data and documentation whilst ensuring it meets policy and regulatory requirements. In some cases you will build challenger models to assess whether more advanced techniques can improve risk management outcomes.
You will help build up an appropriate validation code library for these prescriptive models and set this new team up for success into the future.
You will produce clear and insightful validation reports and present these to senior management

What do I need?
Along with an excellent tertiary qualification in quantitative disciplines such as actuarial, mathematics, statistics, econometrics or other related quantitative discipline, we are looking for:
Advanced knowledge of R, SQL and Excel in data analytics, modelling and visualisation. Knowledge of Python, Git, Jupyter, Spark and cloud computing is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of different risk classes particularly, capital, funding and liquidity and credit risk.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, particularly the ability to explain complicated issues in an efficient and effective manner. You should have demonstrated an ability to communicate with influence.
Proven ability to deliver the best possible results for the organisation, showing determination, resourcefulness and a sense of purpose in achieving this.
