The primaryfunction of the role will be to provide Business and Finance support to threelines of business within CIB Markets Operations of approx. 750 headcount and74mm of expenses
The rolewill involve regular interaction with colleagues across Operations andF&BM.
Candidateswill be expected possess strong inter-personal skills, and demonstrate a proventrack record of delivery in financial business management and programmanagement fields. The ideal candidate will be conscientious and proactive in problemsolving. The candidate should ideally have business management experience andprior experience in managing financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Support the planning and forecasting process through engagementwith stakeholders
Support the monthly financial review process
Partner with regional finance and controller teams on month endclose related activities
Work with Regional F&BM team to monitor accuracy of monthlyaccruals and actuals
Support optimization of the businesses through identifyingopportunities for efficiencies and reductions
Review and support the cost allocation process
Manage staffing and resourcing requests globally
Ensure accuracy of headcount reporting and review workforcelocation strategy
Provide scenario analysis to operational leads to help them maketimely and informed business decisions
Drive accountability across the organization for execution againstplan
Deliver monthly business reviews to relevant stakeholders
Support the improvement of dashboards and management reporting
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Background in finance, technology / operations or business management
Demonstrate the ability to drive results in fast paced challenging environments
Must have a collaborative and participative style, displaying professionalism, sensitivity, discretion and sound decision-making skills as well as the ability to interact at senior executive level
Ability to work independently, taking a leadership role on specific efforts
Ability to multi-task, moving easily between strategy and execution
Ability to organize tasks and activities effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills ? must be able to synthesize data into concise messages for leadership
Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
Outstanding attention to detail, follow-up skills and results-orientation
Skilled in Microsoft Office Product Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Exposure to tools like Tableau, Qlikview, eXtrasheet, and Alteryx will be an advantage.
