The group is a service-orientated business comprised ofspecialised individuals with knowledge and expertise in understanding, managingand delivering financial information to our regulators. The group is alsodedicated to adding value and improving efficiency, quality and controls.
Theregulatory finance department is a high profile function, providing financialinformation to the Prudential Regulation Authority (?PRA?), Financial ConductAuthority (?FCA?), Bank of England and the Office of National Statistics. Thereporting team within Regulatory Finance is split into two areas: the CapitalReporting team and the Financial Reporting team.
Thereis also a specialist team, UK Reg Reporting Change, responsible for leading theUK Reg strategic change agenda including optimisation of operating model andcapital usage; system release management and tracking; capital modelapplication/implementation and LE strategy work for UK Reg Reporting. Background: TheUK Regulatory Reporting function is changing rapidly through external mandatoryregulatory reporting requirements; greater business engagement internally(including new products and upstream system change) and development of newreporting applications and tools.
TheUK Reg Change team is responsible for leading the UK Reg strategic changeagenda including optimisation of operating model and capital usage; systemrelease management and tracking; capital model application/implementation andLE strategy work for UK Reg Reporting.

Weare looking for a candidate for the role of Business Analyst to join the ? UKRegulatory Reporting Change? team.
Therole is to support an initiative to design, develop and build a transparencyand traceability tool ? enabling the Regulatory Reporting function toaccurately and efficiently respond to external regulatory enquiries, providethem a tool to support their daily reporting and analysis, as well as enhancethe ability to deliver change. The tool will include data lineage, data governance,policy interpretation, implementation logic and reporting governance.
Asuccessful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Be involved in the design and solution of theend state architecture
Write business and functional requirements forthe individual components of the delivery
Work with stakeholders across the firm toensure alignment to other Firmwide tools, initiatives and strategy
Work with the wider UK Regulatory Reportingfunction to gather requirements
Input into the Operating Model requirements tosupport the ongoing maintenance of the tool.
Adherence to a challenging delivery schedule ina fast-paced and fluid environment
Timely escalation of issues to the ProjectManager
Support the wider agenda of the UK Reg ReportingChange team
Strong interpersonal and team working skills
Ability to communicate effectively bothverbally and written - at all levels
A self-starter, motivated and able to work withminimal supervision
Demonstrate strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Flexibility to work under pressure to meetchanging work requirements and strict deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and aninquisitive approach to work
A strong and experienced business analyst who brings the full suite of the business analyst skillset (requirement gathering, documentation, problem solving, data analysis, testing)
Experience working on front to back delivery projects, covering data sourcing, data enrichment, calculation and end user reporting.
An understanding of Data Governance, Data Principals and Data Architecture and knowledge and experience of how these are applied across a Front to Back data and reporting infrastructure.
The ability to write policies and procedures for end users
A comprehensive understanding of the development lifecycle
Proven experience delivering large projects on schedule
Experience with Data Governance tools such as Collibra
Experience in data architecture and design
Experience in and understand Regulatory capital
An appreciation and understanding of Operating Model implications
UK Regulatory Reporting background.
