The Relationship Management roles are responsible for acquiring, orchestrating, and growing entire client and ecosystem relationships; deepening relationships within the C-Suite; consulting on, and cross-selling, the entire SVB platform (i.e. Treasury management to Debt financing to the Private Bank, etc.) to address client business and personal needs; orchestrating cross-functional SVB teams to optimize the client experience; and building real relationships to differentiate SVB with all key influencers in the market. Core responsibilities include new business development and expansion of existing relationships, as well as, originating, advising on, and negotiating financing solutions for SVB Commercial Bank clients.
Manage assigned client relationships. Provides support to MD and Director's client relationships. Help ensure those clients receive a world class relationship management experience. Independently contacts clients and prospects.
Engages in client meetings. Leads team interaction with operations and product groups internally. Demonstrates a thorough command of SVB's products and offerings. Engages in the negotiation of financing solutions for SVB clients.
Responsible for relationship management of commercial bank clients and delivery of core commercial banking products (i.e. debt financing, treasury management, FX, investments, and broader SVB financial services (i.e. private bank, wealth advisory, SVB Analytics, etc.)
Responsible for new business development, expansion of existing relationships with a variety of levels of influencers within the client.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
5 or more years of related experience.
Experience and network in the tech startup ecosystem preferred.
