Management and mentoring for Haskell Development Team as well as active participation in development
Direct contact with stakeholders from all organisational levels, including providing regular and timely updates to Management Team
Contributing to the definition and implementation of the bank's overall liquidity technology strategy
Providing proposals of solutions that help the bank's business units to achieve their goals
Performing impact analysis and providing development estimates for technology tasks delivery
Preferably Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, with background in computer science, software design, software engineering and DevOps
At least 6 years of experience in implementation of banking projects or similar
At least 3 years of industry experience in Haskell or other typed functional programming language (e.g., OCaml, F#) or, alternatively, in significant open source typed functional programming language projects (academic projects do count, particularly published papers, e.g., with companion patches to GHC)
Good understanding of software development life cycle and system solutions design
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills across various levels in an organisation
Experience defining typed APIs to external systems such as databases, web services, pub/sub platforms
Experience with large data sets and performance optimisation would be an asset
Knowledge of Liquidity Risk and Balance Sheet Management would be a definite advantage
Knowledge of financial products, specifically calculation of valuations or risk would be helpful
