The incumbent is to provide advisory support within the Wealth Management (WM) business and collectively deliver and achieve the WM revenue objectives through sound provision of investment advices and solutions to the Clients and/or Relationship Managers in order to meet clients' desired investment objectives.
Key Products include Mutual Funds, Structured Products, Treasury Products, and Bonds
To provide independent opinion on quality of client's existing portfolio.
To assess client's risk appetite, investment preference and return expectations during joint engagement with the Relationship Manager at client meeting sessions.
To monitor market returns and provide regular and timely feedback/ advisory to client.
To ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.
The Role Responsibilities
Work and partner with the Relationship Managers and provide timely and relevant investment advisory given client's financial objectives and needs profile:
Provide timely market updates and accurate product information to clients and stakeholders.
Monitor market level movements and provide regular/ timely feedback/ advisory to clients
Offer appropriate solutions with consideration of clients' risk profile and investment objectives
Provide regular review on clients' investments for proper portfolio hygiene
Proactive engagement with Relationship Managers to identify New-to-Product clients and grow wealth Asset Under Management (AUM) and revenue.
Proactive engagement with Product Managers to identify new product opportunities and ideas.
Utilise in-house advisory platforms to deliver holistic investment advisory to clients
Ability to advocate house view and devise solutions to meet wealth needs.
Conduct portfolio review for clients
Proactively guide and coach Relationship Managers on investment related topics.
Facilitate book building of product deals in a cost-effective, speedy and accurate manner.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal compliance policies as applicable and report any suspicious activity to Compliance Unit.
Project a high level of professionalism in all client engagement to uphold image of the Bank.
Being certified as override approver.
Our Ideal Candidate
Experience in Portfolio penetration and planning capability.
Advanced knowledge in Wealth Products/ Solution, Financial Markets & Concepts as well as Advisory Services.
Possess up-to-date macro market knowledge.
Competent in communication and presentation skills of complex investment topics and solutions.
Ability to conceptualize and plan tailored portfolio for clients.
Self-motivator who is keen to upgrade, improve personal knowledge and skills to meet job requirements.
Ability to work independently.
