Develop and execute payment method partnerships, strategies and programs to increase adoption for One Merchant Services
Lead for all large scale vertical/segment programs (eg. Land grabs) and key projects for the Merchant team
Responsible to engage, build, manage and maintain current and prospective Partner relationships (eg. Schemes, Payment processors, Aggregators) to deliver value-add service to merchants
Responsible for assessing opportunities for new Solution Partners
Work closely with Business, Product Management, internal and external stakeholders to maximize Solution partnerships
Be the key contact point for partners, commercial, business models and product function/integration
Implementation of Payment acceptance strategies to increase Merchant Sales Volume and revenue
Ensure that proper execution plan is in place to operationalize partnership
Build and maintain a process to provide ongoing reporting of key metrics and provide ongoing feedback to internal teams regarding market trends or emerging needs.
Keep abreast of development in the market and understand competition in merchant business
Collaborate cross functions with technology, business stakeholders, engagement teams to drive digital share
Engage with customers (internal/external) to establish and validate requirements
Payment expertise with a wide perspective on all elements of payments
Strong execution mindset focussed on effective achievement
Strategic thinker with excellent people, project and time management skills
5+ years in business banking and solid experience in managing payment platforms
Knowledgeable in banking operations, products & services
Ability to work under pressure
Can work well in a team and as an individual contributor
Detail- oriented and organised
Positive and optimistic with great sense of ownership and customer oriented mindset
Excellent people & communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
