Job Title: Analyst
Job Description: BAAM seeks to hire an analyst as a member of its Client Operations team.
Responsibilities: The analyst will work on a variety of matters relating to client investments in the various products offered under BAAM. Primary job responsibilities will include:
Oversight and processing of client directed transactions, including commitments, subscriptions, redemptions and transfers, as well as other non-standard trade types.
Working in conjunction with various BAAM teams such as the Investor Relations, Legal & Compliance, Fund Accounting, Reporting, and Middle Office Teams in order to execute Client trades and respond to Client queries
Liaising and managing service providers such as the Fund Administrators in relation to Investor trade documentation, annual questionnaires and ad hoc client requests as well as trade reconciliation
Managing direct interaction with clients on various requests
Maintenance of various databases in connection with client investments
Providing reports for various internal teams
The role also offers exposure to the execution of underlying investment documentation across the BAAM platform, and the analyst with liaise with internal teams such as Legal & Compliance, Portfolio Management, Investment Operations.
Qualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should have:
2-3 years of relevant experience from financial services preferred
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask to meet numerous deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and individually
