Reporting to Manager, Operations, you will be responsible for assisting the daily account opening, client onboarding and account review to minimize the AML risk, ensuring Customer Due Diligence ("CDD") and customer data input quality and preparing MIS report on Private Banking AML risk control.
Assist to establish and implement guidelines/procedures concerning account opening, client onboarding, CDD review and ongoing transaction monitoring
Assist to work with frontline sales staff in account opening and client onboarding process, including review documents, CDD data and reports, conduct media search, prepare first draft on Source of Wealth assessment and follow up the process until completion
Assist to work with frontline sales in CDD reviews (regular review, review upon triggered events and review triggered by internal or external alert) and complete in a timely manner
Assist to perform ongoing transaction monitoring as defined in relevant guidelines
Create and review database to ensure the quality of CDD and customer data input
Administer CDD documents maintenance, scanning, updating and safekeeping
Participate in system development projects such as UAT
Prepare MIS report on Private Banking AML risk control
Support other operations function and provide assistance on ad hoc operation issues
To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:
Degree holder in Business or Finance
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as well as transaction monitoring in financial institution
Ability of multi-tasking and work under pressure
Good analytical skill and self-motivated
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer
