Support the execution of data and analytics requests from the Finance and Internal Audit business units.
Build data visualizations using common platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
Build production-ready analytical tools to support repeatable and reusable processes, ensuring quality and accuracy of deliverables.
Partner with Finance and Internal Audit leaders to define data and analytics objectives and drive insights to outcomes.
Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
Examine, interpret and communicate results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders, technical and non-technical audiences, internally and externally.
Collaborate with business units to generate hypotheses, create insights and influence decision making.
Partner with Moody's Information Technology colleagues to ensure efficient build of technology infrastructure and data architecture.
Stay up-to-date with the latest data analytics trends, techniques, and industry best practices.
Working knowledge of data analysis principles: inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modelling data with the goal of discovering insights and supporting decision-making.
Bachelor's Degree in BA, Economics, Data, Finance, Computer Science or related.
Experience with common programming skills (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.) to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques, including hypothesis development, and designing tests/experiments to validate these.
Experience and knowledge of statistical modelling techniques, e.g. regression analyses, variable selection, etc.
Experience working with and creating data visualization dashboards using common platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data.
Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
